    Alves playing at No. 10?.........:emoticon-0138-think:emoticon-0138-think

That's either very brave or an inspired choice - we'll find out.

Riza hasn't a clue what he's doing. WTF is that line up!!!!???? 424 ? 442.?

Chambers and Mannsverk are struggling with a 3 let alone the 2.

Was that a foul on Ng that led to their corner?

The referee ruined that game in the second half.

Half expected Riza to go 5 at the back but what was he doing bringing on El Ghazi? Totally useless,

    Their manager made better substitutions.

It worked for the first half then Rohl made inspired changes half time that totally changed the shape of the game.

El Ghazi on for Alves was a disaster - he is absolutely hopeless. Turnbull for Mannsverk didn't work and Riza's other changes were too far too late to realistically affect the game.

At 1-0 we had them on the back foot and the game virtually in the bag. We blew it through some very poor management. On that evidence we'll be very fortunate even to get to the Norwich game needing some sort of result to stay up.

Similar poor performances and results from those around us in the table is probably our best chance.

Why don’t we have a player on the line for corners?

When will Barry bleeding Bannon retire?

Why was the referee so totally inconsistent and incompetent? 99 times out of 100 a defender who falls over by the corner flag gets a free kick. How did he book O’Dowda for a minor foul in 3rd minute but let their players off?

Why can’t we play consecutive half’s well rather than just one? Today was a rare occasion when we started on the front foot and kept it up but 2nd half couldn’t replicate it.

    We are heading down.

We have a group of talented youngsters who will do their best.

However there is next to no leadership or hard players to knuckle down and get stuck in. How we could do with a Morrison Bamba Peltier Gunnerson right now.

We need some Everton dogs of war but what we have is the puppies of peace.

No steel in the side at all.

Battle hardened keeper, CB, CM as a spine with the flair around it.
It's worrying that we've got to this position.
And you don't fix it overnight.

    Totally agree.

Nothing we can do about it now.

We aren't a good passing side but have some talented young players.

I think id look at removing Bagan from CB and putting him in the middle of the field instead of Chambers just to give us some bite there. That would mean Goutas or Daaland back which isn't great either.

Only an opinion but the first half showing was good (for once) and that was largely attributable to having pacy players in no 10 spot and out wide.

He should carry on with that. There’s no real benefit in tinkering with that and give them 90 minutes. No need to bring on that cart horse EL Ghazi.

As for CM I’d keep Bagan where he is. SW wouldn’t have scored if there had been a player on the line. Goutas and Daaland are just not good enough.

Not sure why he subbed our only goal threat before time?

Don't know why our biggest threats were taken off but to replace them with Meite, El Ghazi and a not fully fit Tanner was inexcusable.

I think many of us agree about the tinkering.
No brainer for the next game. Same starting 11.
Like for like changes unless we need a bit more creativity in the CM.
