They legally bind you to a post in the central square while picking out the best stones to chuck at you

I am on another planet. Or that's what I'm told. Although it might be the voices in my head telling me that.

Palace looked very good against Fulham.

Could Spurs put in a triple bid for Glasner, Eze and Guehi?

Not unless there's a Singapore Public Investment Fund which is buying the club next week

I thought Lee Dixon played for Chester City not Man City , he is blowing smoke so far up their arses that it's coming out their ears

Keep reading reports of Pep's super subs. Because you know it's only possible to praise him. It most certainly doesn't work the other way. I mean through all that horrendous run of results he must have made loads of substitutions. Which clearly didn't work. So "Pep's subs fail again" would be at least as justified a headline for that, which we can file under headlines we are never going to read about the bestest ever manager.

Subs work about half the time I think. Should actually be less than that if the best eleven players started. I don't think any manager has an edge on subs.

The thing about super subs is people mainly notice them if they score, for example Pavlyuchenko's scoring run off the bench for us, or at a push if they get the assist for a winner

On the other hand, does anyone notice if someone is subbed on and they shut down midfield for the rest of the game or make a game-saving challenge in stoppage time?

Dixon's a boyhood City fan, as his dad was on their books.
