Oh well, that's all right, then. Have you found time in your busy schedule to identify the parts of London that are unrecognisable, yet?
Should probably point out that contrary to some thinking, I don’t live in some gated white compound of London, that strangely protects me from unrecognisable London that has fallen. For context - my neighbours to my left are a French/Ghanaian family. To my right are an Italian family. Opposite me is a single Chinese man, living next to an Italian man and his Chinese wife. Two to my left are an immigrant Somali family. All of these people are lovely, and far nicer and more community focused than the benefit claiming white family who lived in the house prior to the Somalis, who used to nick stuff and put ****s in people’s bins. But obviously I’m just a champagne socialist living in a special part of London entirely unaffected by the Os dystopian dream he’s been fed by Americans on X about Fallen Londonistan. (In fact, the only two real “problem families” on our road have been two of the white families. Both non working. But there we are…)
I would never defend layabout slobs, of any nationality. I’d deport them too if I could. But it’s slightly harder to do.
None of your nice neighbours negates any of the points I am making. At no point have I said that all immigration is bad. “My wife is nice”, “my neighbours are nice”. Sure, fine. Doesn’t mean we should let hundreds of thousands of illegals cross the border
I think we'll all drown from rising sea levels caused by climate change first. Oh wait, it doesn't exist.
I wish you actually listened. I think at most two people here are for open borders. However, you taint the argument with a clearly anti-muslim and apparently anti-brown rhetoric which closes down discussion. Nobody here blames the immigrants for immigration- and we know Western policies have caused it - so how about you calm down the language you use and make some meaningful suggestions?
What is your opinion on hijabs? I do struggle to understand how liberals can simultaneously pretend we live in an evil patriarchy, whilst bitterly defending the most patriarchal religion in existence
Finsbury Park, probably, where I work. It hasn't fallen though, it's always been rough around the edges. And there's always been quite a lot of crime, but that's never been the whole story. It's also always been vibrant, colourful and diverse. It's a working class area in a capital city, with a long history of immigration, assimilation and a fierce local pride forged in adversity. @Osvaldorama would hate it; that's no loss to Finsbury Park, which will muddle along without the likes of him.
No, who has said that? I'm just refuting your silly, hysterical point about Fallen London and how I'm just a champagne socialist.
I think all forms of religious fundamentalism are a travesty of modern humanity. But don’t change the subject.
Hysterical to not want strange men loitering outside schools, ogling children Hysterical to not want London full of mobile phone thieves that cycle past and rob your phone as soon as you get it out Hysterical that you can no longer wear a nice watch in London without fear of someone taking it Hysterical that at any time, knife wielding men could target you. Hysterical that wherever you look, there is dirt, litter, graffiti and a general malaise which continues to get worse and worse… with homelessness everywhere Sure, I am hysterical about all these things because they’re things that I never had to deal with until the globalist experiment destroyed the city. And I shouldn’t have to deal with now if the goverment was in any way vaguely competent. Maybe you just don’t leave the house very much if you’re really blind to all that’s changed in the last 20 years. Or maybe you know what I say is the truth; but you’re not willing to admit it.
Globalist experiment? Multiculturalism has been a part of British life for 80 years. How old are you?
The figures were relatively sustainable and constant from WW2 until Tony Blair. Then the globalist experiment began.
