Mothering Sunday is a relatively new concept and is non-religious. The origins stem from domestic servants being given a day off work.
I know that as many others do. A simple search into immigrant rights and charges shows what inflammatory racist bollocks is being posted.
I think that the problem is that Os's post loik credible at face value yet , with knowledge or familiarity, they can be pulled apart quite easily and seen to be the nonsense they are. I am finding his posts to be persinally offensive and the treatment of No 7 is unacceptable. There are a few of us in here who have foreign spouses who probably have similar views. Getting my wife's three visas sorted out is amongst the most stressful things i have done. It cost me a fortune including a resubmittal fee due to an admin error and solicitor's fees for each application...visitor, fiancee and spouse visa. It is extremely difficult and there are hidden fees to be paid at each juncture. This is before trying to find a job for her which is a nightmare. She does not claim any benefits.
Please point out the passages in the Qu’ran that teach men to be horrible to women. If you like, I will respond with some examples of Christians being horrible to women, just in case you can’t think of any by yourself. Your chum Mr Tate might be able to help you out. Your ceaseless, cowardly, insidious attempts to differentiate between white British people and British people from other backgrounds are becoming offensive to many of the posters on this board, and if you don’t stop you will be banned.
Well Step 1 is a bit different to 'figment of our imagination' as you acknowledge there's a problem Step 2, I've no idea how many are aware, there are different reasons for this, one being experiencing the current impacts, as some nations are Step 3, there are many intelligent people working on solutions, just too much at a small scale at present Last para, is basically, 'Think Global, Act Local", which we do by walking, using public transport, minimising our use of resources, recycling (inc stuff we find in the street), food and purchasing decisions and supporting organisations like Wildlife trusts, who are doing a lot and spreading the word Not claiming to be perfect by any means, but we try to do stuff that will make a small difference, as you say
Have there been more extreme weather events in the last decade than the previous one. Fires, floods etc?
As for Step 1, I am only aware of the problem as I have been told of it by "experts", I trust and believe them, but still keep an open mind in case some other "experts" come along and disprove the theory. Step 2, there are many large nations that are aware and chose to carry on as before and are not helping to solve the problems.
Exactly the same for me. Was incredibly stressful, took a long time, and very expensive. can't state enough what a real life changer it was, being accepted. My wife (a woman of colour), has only been here for less than a year, but is already paying taxes, and put £2,500 into the NHS before even entering the country. It isn't the immigrants coming to this country causing the problem; it's the large swathes of people born and bred here who take advantage of the welfare system, scorn education, avoid paying taxes, commit crime, and go out of their way to be a burden on the rest of society. It's a bigger problem in this country than in any other country that I've ever been to. Just thousands of scummy pond-life dregs, in every town and city, living their entitled council estate lives, blaming their problems on hard-working immigrants.
Quakers condemn six arrests at meeting house. BBC. You’ve got to keep an eye on them Quakers. Well known rabble rousers. Must have been a quiet down the nick. Who fancies raiding a Quaker meeting or a drugs gang with attitude? Right then, Quakers it is then. Get tooled up.
You’ve been to Teesside, I see. You don’t have to go far to see the British skivers. The hard working Asians are too busy earning a living and paying taxes, to gather on street corners with their drugs and alcohol.
Those arrested were not Quakers but 6 women attending a "Youth Demand" meeting at the location. YD is a youth-non-violent environmental and political group which opposes new fossil fuel licensing and production agreements by the British government for drilling in the North Sea and British arms exports to Israel. (Still... keep an eye on the Quakers)
I’m not sure why you are trying to link spousal immigration like this to the hundreds of thousands of people in hotels and claiming benefits that shouldn’t be here. It’s a false equivalence that liberals always do. Shout racism etc because they want to pretend that we don’t have huge border issues. I have always said I have absolutely nothing against immigration generally. Just the insane polices that we currently have that cost us a fortune. The rest is you being emotional
