Let’s not forget with all the excitement about the match yesterday!?? Happy Mother’s Day, best wishes to all Mums on Mothering Sunday. We wouldn’t be what we are without you, relax and have a great special day.

Not forgetting also, special thoughts for those Mums no longer with us, those amongst us having recently lost loved ones and feeling lonely & lost :emoticon-0153-broke:emoticon-0153-broke

Last but not least, hope you all remembered to put your clocks forward!! Sod's law, mums special day and we get a shorter one!

hate this day since my mum passed, it’s easily the worst day. Worse then birthdays, Xmas, even the anniversary of the day . Got to make an effort for my wife but I’d happily just sleep through it if I could . I hope everybody that is able has at least picked up the phone, can’t stand the number of people on Facebook wishing their mums a happy day when their mum isn’t even on Facebook! … . Sorry to hijack this nice thread with my rantings, happy Mother’s Day to all the mums reading .

I feel your pain on this day. I have spent the day trying to ignore it!

I took my Mum (90) and Dad (92) married 71 years next week to their respective Mums and my Grans today. Dads in the cemetery on Hedon Road, really well kept but eerily quiet and Mums on Chanterlands which was absolutely rammed. The lady in the entrance selling flowers was inundated. Again, really well kept though the disposal bin near my Grans had mysteriously gone walk about. Cherish each day with them. :emoticon-0152-heart:emoticon-0152-heart
