It's on the bbc and covers a number of points upto and including revenue. Celtic and Rangers are both monsters in terms of passion and support. but they just don't have the PL money.
Well yeah as football in Scotland is just a 2 horse race (basically a 1 horse race these days). I just hate Scottish teams being compared to Premier league teams, there's no comparison, in terms of players, quality etc, Scottish football is League One level, nowhere near PL, and Championship is better too.
It's actually quite clever because half of Liverpool will buy it. I now wait for the new sponsor Heinz.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/clyw439pxp0o Everton report losses for seventh season in row
The authorities turn a blind eye to certain teams ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Everton have reported losses of £53m for last season. Although the figure is less than the £89m deficit from 2022-23, it is the club's seventh successive year of losses - totalling £570m. Last season Everton were deducted eight points for two separate breaches of Premier League profit and sustainability rules (PSR) for the rolling three-year periods including the 2021-22 and 2022-23 seasons. In January the Premier League said it had not charged any clubs for breaches in 2023-24 after all were deemed financially compliant. It later said Everton would not face further action over an outstanding issue relating to an earlier PSR charge. Under PSR rules, clubs can lose a maximum of £105m over three years before facing sanctions. Everton's losses for the past three seasons are £187m, but costs associated with investment in infrastructure and youth and women's teams can be deducted when calculating PSR losses. Everton are scheduled to move to a new 52,888-capacity stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock this summer in time for the 2025-26 season. Everton also reported: £313m spent on the development of the new stadium, up from £211m the previous year. £50m generated from player sales, including defender Ben Godfrey joining Atalanta for £10m and winger Lewis Dobbin moving to Aston Villa for a reported £9m shortly before the accounting deadline of 30 June. Wage-to-turnover figure reduced from 89% to 81%. Turnover increased by £15m to £187m. Net debt rose to £567m.
So does this mean they are in breach of FFP. The whole “premier league against NUFC takeover” was around us spending billions. Yet we have stayed in line. And Everton….
Just reading about that this morning. That’s a blatent cheat. £190m plus for their ladies team to move to a separate but wholly owned company of Chelsea. With the balance of payment sat as a creditor. Which will never get paid.
The PL clubs voted against blocking clubs doing what Chelsea did a few weeks ago! Something significant is coming, because I get the impression clubs are starting to want a escape route from the PSR rules, and potential punishments, othewise they'd have voted to block this kind of thing. Also Cities apt 2 case can't be too far from an outcome.. It started early January and will have been around 8 weeks since it finished.
Quite a few clubs have been copying the toon but not quite got the same standards yet. Wor flags are the pioneers and best in this country by a mile.
It simply proves that despite all their **** that they've clearly looked on at Newcastle with envious eyes and simply want to be like the toon.
