I bought a CD of ice cream van music. Now I drive around with the stereo on loud, with the windows open and watch the disappointment on all of the little kids' faces
I remember when me and my sister were young my dad would always ask on a Sunday morning would you like a full English. We always replied no we are ok, as soon as he sat down it would be oooohh! Can I have a bit of sausage or can I have a bit bit of bacon, can you dip the bread in the tomato dad, and so it went, poor bugger only got half a breakfast but it never bothered him, he was a brilliant dad.
I bet your dad was the same mate, at least I hope so. When I was five or six he would come in from work have a cup of tea and then take me for a walk over the allotments down Clatchy rocks and back home, then have his tea, couldn’t ask for a better dad than that. I was born in 1953, first match at Roker park 1956/7 didn’t even know why I was there, spent most of the time sticking a lolly stick down the cracks in the concrete, couple of years later had my own rattle and board with ropes on so I could watch the match. Brilliant times. Ps, reading that again brought tears to my eyes
Tremendous. I'm 10 years younger marra, but cannot remember my first games with my dad circa 1974. But it was enough to get me hooked and my brother, and our sons. All Season Card holders.
Do what it says a couple of times if it doesn't work the first time . . . . it's very clever please log in to view this image
