Strange one this Macedonian team : FIFA rankings: Wales 29th, North Macedonia 67th. They are a team capable of drawing 1-1 with England in the Nations League, but also drawing 1-1 with the Faroe Islands. However, since that 1-1 draw with the Faroese, they have won 6 on the bounce without conceding a goal- scoring 12 in that time, albeit against lower ranked countries but one of those results was a 3-0 away victory against Latvia - a team that England beat by the same scoreline last night. They also beat Armenia 2-0 away - a team that beat Wales in Cardiff and we could only draw with away in the last competition. Honestly I think we can win it, but I'm not sure we will. North Macedonia seem to be a team that many have struggled to get a result against. I think if we get an early goal it will be massive as we are not know for breaking down resolute defences because we don't have a wealth of creativity. I wouldn't be surprised by a 0-0. COME ON WALES !!!
Not a big fan of international football but I think CB has the players available to him believing in his tactics which are more passionate and positive than those employed by Page before him. They seem to have confidence in their ability. As long as they start in a strong set up and as alluded to do not conceded an early goal Wales/Cymru can go on to win the game...going for 2 or 3 -1 to us.
As Stereo points out, this is an odd one to call. Recent form though suggests they are playing decently and will have a ton of confidence, especially at home. They will see Wales as a good scalp to take. I think a draw but hopefully a win. Let's hope we start positively and don't play cautiously. The thing that worries me is the Borats were there for the taking and we spent an inordinate amount of time tapping it about at the back, near the half way. Then they equalised and we had to start again. NM are more likely to punish us if we mess about.

That goal was coming, with the way we were giving away free kick after free kick at the back, at least we scraped it back at the death, a draw was a fair result, but we struggled to break Macedonia down....
Wow. How relieved is Joe!! We lost our momentum when Dan was subbed. Serious question... does anyone rate Johnson? Looked mostly a passenger these two games. Don't watch the Prem, so no idea how he plays for club. Matondo should have come on earlier. Good point in the end though.
