Well at least he's use to being on stage, because the owners will expect that. Look forward to meeting him at the fans forum. Although funnily no announcement from the owners yet, which I find slightly odd, but it's been confirmed everywhere else lol
Over the past 12 years of watching football in the Championship, League 1, League 2, FA Cup and Football League Trophy - his Wycombe teams were the biggest time wasting, ****-houses I've had the misfortune of watching. Awful football - if pretty effective.
As much as I liked the bloke as a player, he is an absolute clown. His methods work better lower down the leagues but don’t think he’ll ever replicate what he did at Wycombe. Would need a group to totally buy into his way of playing and to catch other teams by surprise when they’re wiser to it now.
That's a brilliant appointment for you lot mate. Wouldn't bet against him getting you up next season.
Holloway as done a decent job at Swindon since he's been there, give him a summer getting his own players and they could be a decent bet for promotion next season.
Yeah, I've got the maddog feeling with him, and that worked the last time we won the league, so over a decade on, maybe. We are getting through too many managers though, and I'm not happy about that, we should have stuck with Neil Harris but that's all the past now. Coleman broke one record for us though and that's being the worst manager ever, and that takes some doing.
Yeah I knew he'd done well since coming in buy last time I looked at the table Gills weren't too far off the play offs
