Do you know what I find hilarious, a few years ago before they were taken over by the Saudis we would have been gutted if they had won the league cup, yet now they have won it, it’s still us taking the piss out of them, what a bunch of Saudi sympathising bastards.

The two clubs have been together in friendly rivalry for decades. I grew up in Consett in the 60's and there were many who had season tickets for both...went to one on a Saturday and the other the next week...it was a general support for NE football.
