I bet there is. Prove me wrong Oh and for no 6s hamann wouldn't even be near my list of best for lfc. Souness, mcmahon, alonso, mascherano and fabinho not to mention sir kenny's favourite lucas would all come much higher for me. I'm sure others with zimmer frames would add some more 60s and 70s icons. Blinky was alright but as slow as a carthorse and his main talent was buying frees in his own half.
I never said Hamann was anywhere near our best no6. Dunno why you're throwing Souness in there - can I say Billy Liddell would make the front 3? And ffs, Hamann was head and shoulders a better player than Gravenberch has ever been so far in his career. get a ****ing grip.
Even hamann wasn't playing a "6" in the just sit there style he was playing with Gerrard as a pair. I'm saying I wouldn't even put hamann anywhere near my top 10 let alone getting near today's team. He simply wouldn't play on the turn like slot wants. Gravenberch eats hammer on toast in terms of ability to turn and play and he's had to play on his own in there for a lot of the time. The lad is a rolls Royce player.
"Top 10"? Out of the two sides, only Gerrard, Ally, and possibly Salah would make a top 10 (though the last one would really struggle to get past barnes, Dalglish, Keegan, Suarez, Rush, Liddell, and Hunt). Don't know why you're starting a top 10 discussion. And whilst Hamann gets nowhere near a top 10 (agreed), Gravenberch doesn't even make a top 100. He barely touches a top 200.
That said that about Gravy, we could do without this with a crucial April coming up, and 5 games we need at least 13 points from so that we don't have to face a tricky May needing to win all our games.
What an unbelievably ridiculous post from a supposed Liverpool fan, on two counts. The first being, did he miss the epic celebrations at last year's LC final (not to mention two of the previous years before)? And secondly, sorry for all the old fans who've never seen a trophy lift but this one is tainted. I'm sure all the lovely socially conscious Geordies felt a great swell of pride watching their owners right hand man getting in on the action on the pitch with a picture to post on his social media captioned 'sportswashing, it's great'.
I'm a 'supposed' Liverpool fan because I sometimes post things you disagree with? You're really getting down with this Fash trash, aren't you?
You know me well enough to know that I'd never call you a supposed fan or anything else. You're sound. Btw what's fash trash?
Did you mean this moment, or the cup final win? I guess beating the champions of another country at home isn't for everyone ...
