Tonight I’ll be having a frozen meal cooked by Mrs K’s fair hand. I’ll be as surprised as anyone else once it’s come out of the microwave.
One thing I won’t miss when I do retire is reheating frozen stuff in a work microwave at 11pm at night.

Is retirement on the horizon EJK?
I'm coming up 30 years retired at the end of the month and never looked back.

    Don’t rub it in mate!!
I’m 59 this year. Mrs K is 56 next month. She wants to retire at 60 but thinks we should retire together! So possibly another four years left. If I pull my finger out this year I’ll get another promotion in and that will top up the superannuation. Also looking at going country. There’s a few stations here that give a one off attraction payment of $40000 just for turning up there. Although there’s a very good reason why they have to do that. So couple that with a promotion, rent our house out for a couple of years, and a rent free house paid for by the government in the country we should be comfortably off when we do retire.

You are of course right. It would nark me as well and I should know better. One thing that narks me is when a sentence doesn’t begin with a capital letter or ends with a full stop. :emoticon-0105-wink:
