The two faces of humanity in that story... a bloke wants the world to burn and a bloke who risked his own safety to talk him out of it. Deserves a medal.
I'm not sure about this myself. He seems dangerous but if anything he was talked out of it. If he was indeed hellbent on doing as much damage as possible he would have just ignored the guy and gone for it. Not sure how i feel about this case
Which was also part of my thought process Bobby. I also think back to the Nottingham attack, the Southport attack, all failings of our care system. I think labelling someone a terrorist is an easy get of jail card for the authorities. Often I feel they will try and avoid taking them to crown court under the mental health act because the cops want justice...because he downloaded a manual. Yeah ok he took a pressure cooker to the scene, but is he really any worse than the guy who lobbed a kid over the balcony at a museum. I think it's an area that needs to be looked at closer and how we define terrorism...because once you are charged with that, you are going to prison for a very long time, good, if we are taking into account all variables. Don't get me wrong, I hate terrorists, despise them, but it dosen't mean we shouldn't challenge the judiciary. Imagine someone gave me a gun, would that make me a terrorist, I might just have downloaded the manual to see what it was all about. I don't have a gun and I haven't downloaded the manual, before the cops kick my door in.

Hardly hot of the Press Sucksta ... happened in May last year ... that said, serious offence and nowt to so with this country ... so put 'em all on the next flight to Eritrea and let them sort it out there ... might need some segregation on the plane
I think something like that can easily be resolved. I don't want the arguments of other countries brought to our shores, particularly if it's an argument that caused a war in their own country, which resulted in them claiming asylum here. So unless they are born in UK they are sent back. Every refugee should be made aware if you break our laws, you will be booted out. It should be no less than what should happen to me, if I broke a law in another country, merely as a visitor, I also would expect to be booted out back to my own country and certainly more so if civil disobedience is not peaceful. If you are carrying bats, hammers, knives then it;s not peaceful.

Intetesting hearing from an ex cop on why the jobs fuked. Basically it's run by ladder climbing pigs in uniform based on political reasons for the Westminster pigs in suits and not much else. Who knew eh
