Since the Mods issued a warning it seems to have become even more toxic. It's like people are trying to settle grudges and get their last digs in before it all goes under.
Thankfully I've missed most of it this week as I've been away with work. Hank has his faults as well as do, but he's harmless and it's quite sad that people actively try to goad him on a message board
If people are shouting the odds, attacking SAFC, posting about politics, religion, etc, I'll argue to the death. But I always respect Hank/RTB if they're taking the time to post match/football threads ... ... it's childish and disrespectful to derail match threads in my opinion. Everyone knows what Hank's like, no need to take advantage.
Hank, RTB and Becs (Becs does a match thread even at away games) put a lot of effort into match threads, yet on rtg it's seen as a chance to get a dig in, wind a poster up etc. It's disappointing that some posters seem to take pleasure in trying to disrupt it and appear to not care how it annoys / upsets them.
Watching Scotland and a 17 year old has come on for Greece, what a talent. Konstantinos Karetsas, who plays in Belgium but has Greek parents ... ... he'll be in the PL next season, I've no doubt.
The level of hypocrisy over there is staggering. As an example, one poster who rarely posts about SAFC or football, and does little but snipe at other people, posted this tonight, 'And I can never understand anyone who wants to get at fellow fans on a f’ing message board.' It's very easy to be sanctimonious on a thread like Hank's but even easier to continually dig away at people ... ... which is why they do it.
