Off to the Theatre Royal in Glasgow tonight, Spiritualised playing the whole of Pure Phase as part of the 30th anniversary tour. Assume he's going to have a full orchestra to go with him on stage, this could be epic. My son went to see them earlier this year and said they are multi-instrumentalists and swapped around what they played throughout the gig.
I've seen them a few times, they've certainly come a long way since I first saw them in a small venue and their first album. The latest album is superb. When my son plays with his band, he always swaps with the bass player for their last song so he gets to see the crowd better than from behind his drum kit! The girls love it because he's normally stripped off his top half way through the set
