Got to hope he's going to re-sign for us, but doesn't sound like much is sorted at the moment

I don't think he will, he's waiting until the end of the season to see who he can get the best deal with. 27 years old, he'll want to optimise his earnings in his final couple of contracts. I hope it's with us, I like him and his character but feel he's going to do a BOS, Bidwell or a Manning.

I’d be interested to see who would want to buy him and pay him more than we do. He’s certainly not a PL player, not sure he’s even good enough for serious promotion contenders, my guess is that he didn’t go to Sheff Utd because they didn’t offer enough even for the last six months of his contract, and he was only really going to be cover for the walking red card that is Choudry.

He’s at his level, who would pay him more to stay there? Birmingham perhaps, though their experience with Roberts and Dykes might scare them off…..perhaps one of the relegated clubs, though they all look like complete basket cases, next year might be a more open field in the championship.

Good interview. I would like to see him get a run out. for Ireland over the 2 games I think his threat in the air from corners and long throws would be worth a punt but I doubt he will start either game.

Regarding whether he stays or goes. I think it is his ambition to play Premier League football. I think he is biding his time to see what offers come in from lower half PL teams. We all know he's not good enough for a top half PL team. I think he has served us well. I also think QPR has helped him improve so maybe he should sign a new contract and earn us a few quid if a decent offer came in. It would be a shame to see him walking away on a free.

Agree Finglas hard to see him getting start ahead of Matt Doherty and Jake O Brien wolves & Everton …. just see he makes the subs along with Sinclair Armstrong and for more QPR old boys news Ryan Manning starts re Jimmy would love him to stay at QPR think he is proper lad to have around the place and squad of youngsters needs that sort of experience and down to earth attitude around the place

More hopeful he gets a game today given the quick turnaround.

I’m a tad confused as to what these games are for. This is a QF to eventually get promoted to a higher Nations League group? I see the World Cup qualification groups have started but the final team in some groups is as yet unknown, which is odd. A simple game ruined by idiots.

Simple. Somebody thought it a good way to keep everybody's interest up and make bucket loads of money for Sky and all the other commercial giants who still believe anyone gives a toss. I'm sure the coaches and managers just see it as an opportunity to experiment with different players in so-called big pressure matches. It will lead to more and more Madsens - players who think that strolling around looking pretty means they can cut it in any environment against the best..

Can’t see him staying although making him club captain and a new contract should be on offer. I thought he was excellent against Leeds.

I saw that little article and thought I would post it.

The last paragraph says, “That’s football. I absolutely love it at QPR, it’s a fantastic club and it’s given me the platform to play regular football at a really good level. I love the people there, and I love all the lads, it’s been really easy for me to keep kicking on there.”
