my old teacher at Redhouse comp Mr Eldekin went on to be Sunderland basketball coach in the 1980's they got to a major final, he was a great teacher and pushed us to do well, it is a fast, exiting sport. mind i used to prefer the 5 mile run ! Great photos lads.

This week and last week my son has opened up about his problems to me, his mam and my mam and dad. A huge step for him and one I'm incredibly proud of. His epilepsy and autism pray on him daily and to open up to us all is huge for him and us. I'm incredibly proud of him
My daughter made an Easter bonnet at school today and wanted to show me as I'm away with work this week. Not the biggest achievement, but boy does this photo make me smile
Must be hard being away from family. I work 2 weekends out of 4 a month and I miss things with the grandson that I wish I could attend. She looks very happy, a great photo. Deserves a place in the thread
It's horrible being away, but comes with the fact I spent 17 years in south Wales and the south West so all my contacts are here. Plus point is the new job from May will mean 1 visit a month max amd more chance of time of with the family
