You are 100% correct. They are both far left of centre and don’t care about the British people in the slightest
BREAKING: X’s valuation is back to $44 billion, per FT Another Elon win. Liberal left media will no doubt cry hard about this. Their lies about it going to zero were clearly dumb as usual.
Bail* Why would he need to do that? It’s the most successful car company in the world and will continue to grow
When the learned Trump was president they asked to return for another 4 years. You are home from school early.
No wonder it’s impossible to have a sensible, adult discussion on this thread, if all anyone is concerned about is “winning”, making the other “side” cry or putting down things that are objectively good, just because it was the other ones wot did it. It’s a good thing that the astronauts are back. That’s not under discussion. It’s a win for the world. The issue is that any nuance (which of course there is in this case) is ignored because it’s far more important to score ****ing points. Well done Elon/Trump for facilitating this. Also, let’s not be childish by saying it was never going to happen with Biden/NASA. Both things can be true. Trump/Musk/Biden/Starmer/Ukraine can do things that are both good and bad, and until both “sides”recognise and are grown up enough to acknowledge both these instances when they happen, there is no point in this thread other than playground insults.
The Financial Times? That Legacy Media dinosaur? Even their pages are pink. Until this news appears on Telegram, or another highly creditable Social Media news network, I refuse to believe it.
It's comments like this that do you no favours at all - by stating something as fact that can be disproved in about 10 seconds.
No, not the NHS, that is fantastic The quango NHS England, they aren't responsible for anything at the coal face
Just to reiterate my previous post, Twitter, X, FaceBook etc are NOT media. They are by definition 'Social Media'. From a well known LLM Media and social media are not the same, although they are related and often overlap. Here's a brief explanation of each: Media: This term generally refers to tools or outlets for the mass communication of information, news, entertainment, education, and promotional messages. Traditional media outlets include newspapers, magazines, radio, and television. These outlets typically have professional journalists and editors who curate and distribute content to the public. Social Media: This is a subset of digital media that allows for social interaction, content sharing, and collaboration over the internet. Platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube are examples of social media. Unlike traditional media, social media is often user-generated, meaning that the users themselves create, share, and interact with the content. However, many traditional media outlets also have social media platforms where they share their content and interact with their audience. So, while social media is a type of media, it's not the same as media in general. It's characterised by its interactivity, user-generated content, and the use of specific technology platforms. One is therefore News, the other is some news but with lots of made up ****. It is similar to on here during transfer season we have the 'In the knows' who really arent. We only believe it when the real media announce it. The other problem is that as 'social media' can have anyone posting, so NOTHING is verified. It is also a lot easier for bad actors to manipulate it than the Media (contrary to some peoples' belief on here), and RIFE with propaganda. This is nothing to do with 'times change and that's the way the media are'. Social Media is a cesspit of unverified twaddle. Rant over.
The elephant in the room is the various new media channels which appear when you open up your computer. I do not know where channels like Alt News come very u familiar outlets. I find it really depressing. They are all very partisan and the bias makes them unreliable. It is a nightmare with the likes of GB News being ridiculous. There are others which are rabidly anti Trump which you notice are equally unreliable so you can have one story painting a positive story about the US economy and the other saying there will be a recession. Few seem to scrutinise their sources. This was why it was a annoying to see Trump banning AP from news conferences . It will be fascinating to see how things end up as I can already see the Left being squeezed out by the Right and Centralists. Even the BBC is guilty with the website posting links to the Liberal, Guardian website whilst only having interviewed journalists from The Morning Star on a handful of occasions in Radio 4's Today programme I feel there is a bias but also strongly believe that the voice from the Left is also being ignored from mainstream media. For me, online news is far more problematic than the mainstream printer press. Outside news agencies are also under less scrutiny and even the likes GB News gets given too much slack. I would like media outlets that consistently lie be punished. They should each regulate each other
