Mags embarrassing themselves yet again

The decent Mags must shake their heads at times.

Wouldn’t bother me if he was to be fair. His boyhood club! Same as it wouldn’t bother me if Bellingham went to a Brum game!!

Although I would respond with a picture of him with an “FTM” flag of course!!

 

As long as no-one gave him a Clarky-esq T-shirt!

 

Me either to be honest what he does in his spare time is none of my business aslong as he’s delivering for us and his attitude here can never ben questioned

I've come to the conclusion that there aren't many, at least from what I've seen over the last week. People who barely mentioned football when I worked with them suddenly dressing themselves, wife, kids and cat and dog like a bunch of zebras, stupid haircuts, tattoos, declaring lifelong undying passionate love for "the toon", from ones who'd need a satnav to find Sid James normally, but no one calling this lot out on it. In fact it seems to being encouraged.

I'll hold my hand up, they are actually much much worse than I used to believe.

 

My son, 16, said no one mentioned Sundays game at school... there's hope for us yet.

 

Thing is, its not just town supporters who are content. The media and supporters from other teams are backing them up! The number of messages of support ive seen from other teams supporters, I'm astonished. 'Wolves fan here, congratulations........You's deserve it, always loved going up there, from a Stoke fan.....etc etc. I'd have liked the typical supporter would be more along the lines of 'Hope yous lose every single match and get a pineapple shoved up your arse, lengthways.'

Its not just Newcastle though. I'd like Man City to suffer, also Chelsea a few years back, when they were owned by a Russian gangster. But with whats happening at Newcastle, well, its just the crowning turd in the water pipe.

Something like this stops me in my tracks and makes me question whether its worth following football anymore. My passion for the game has diminished significantly as ive getting older. Watching the jolly reaction to a state owned football team winning a trophy puts me even closer to a final nail in my footballing coffin. It certainly makes me question whether I'd like my club to get promoted to the Premier League. Well, of course I would like them to.......but???

 

A lass I knew from school, put on her facebook page a collage of celebration. I responded something along the lines of 'you do know your clubs success is being funded by people who see you as a second class citizen?' No response. I honestly dont know how women or homosexual supporters can still follow their club.
What would my reaction be if Sunderland were bought by a group who executed hetrosexuals and treated Draughtsmen like ****? That would be the end of my support. It certainly wouldnt be 'Whooop, but we won a cup!!!!!'

 

I went for a pint at the Agenda Sports Bar in Leven, on Tuesday after work, where a few of the lads know me. I was expecting a cheer to go up when I walked in but no one even mentioned Newcastle.

Fair enough it was the Old Firm game, at the weekend, but I expected a bit of piss taking tbh. I know better than to talk about Celtic and Rangers ‘cos I can never remember who’s who and …

… I only stayed for one, never known it so quiet.

 

I've got 5aside at Dunston shortly and usually wear our training top... was thinking of wearing something else this week... feck that for a game of soldiers

 

Only in the office 1 day a week (Wednesday) and the lad sitting behind me, before today, I didn’t even know he was a mag! Came in with a scarf on! But turns out he had so much to drink he can’t remember them lifting the trophy! Without looking it up, couldn’t remember who scored!! Talked about the match all day, as he watched it back last night!!

 

I have read that over and over again, it's priceless. Can't believe anyone could come up with such crap.
