I read this a couple of weeks ago:

Pet Flea Treatments Are Poisoning Wild Birds, New Study Finds
    https://www.forbes.com/sites/grrlsc...ea-treatments-are-poisoning-wild-birds-study/

Quite sad that doing the right thing for our dogs could be harming wild birds

Lad went for a jacuzzi today and said chris rigg was having a sauna.
I asked him if he spoke to him. He said "nah, he was with the under 21 squad and the Portugal team were there too <laugh>

I used to think there were just loads of birds that flew around, all over the place, looking for food.

Since I've made a concerted effort to feed them I've realised I was wrong.

The same pair of blackbirds are back and have become unafraid of me ...

... the male robin is virtually hand fed and won't tolerate any other bird on his place on the windowsill <laugh>

When I was younger we always had a dog, and i can't remember them having flea or tick treatments...they were lucky if they got yearly boosters!
I was common for people to just open their door and let the dog out....it would come back later when it was hungry.
You'd hear neighbours shouting the kids in for their tea, then shout for the dog.
It was easy to get a dog then as well, there was always someone who's dog was having puppies....
Quite scary really, wouldn't dream of doing that now.

Them Robins look cute but very territorial. If it was as big as a seagull it'd try and kill ya :emoticon-0148-yes: <laugh>

I was really shocked when I had to go to Coventry, on a non-match day ...

... it's dreadful and much worse than Sunderland that gets lots of stick on forums.

Apart from the football team Sunderland means nothing to me ...

... but I've enjoyed it every time I've stayed over for matches.

I'm really pleased the place is finally seeing some investment.

I’m lucky we seem to have just about everything come in the garden but never had a fox.
Got loads of cracking photos and videos but can’t seem to get them on here, says they are to large and that thing that seemed to alter their size disappeared when it had an upgrade.

Frogspawn on the pond has been good this year. They keep laying their eggs on the side and I have to push it all in the water.
They should be tadpoles by the time I get home.

If your doing it on a phone, take a screenshot of the photo. Then go to screenshot and crop to just the photo.
That reduces the size of the file enough to post on here.
