That Onion fella is the only one I've heard of. I can't even join in as I'm still banned from that embarrassing Mags Embarrasing themselves thread. It's quite ironic cos they rock up on it and just embarrass themselves on it more and more with each passing day !
And the Pit Owners and Shipyard Owners subsequently formed organisations such as Amnesty International, NATO, Greenpeace to name but three.
So is it disingenuous or willfully ignorant pretending Sunderland’s owners then didn’t have abysmal records of treating workers? Or to pretend Sunderland at the time earned all of its own money? NUFC have supported the likes of rainbow laces etc so your point is wrong. What they do in their own country in terms of laws and religious beliefs is up to them. Pretending as Sunderland fans that you wouldn’t have loved the same buyout is simply bare faced lies. Thanks about the Carabao, genuinely believe you’re happy about it
https://www.newcastleunited.com/en/news/newcastle-united-support-rainbow-laces-campaign https://x.com/NUFC/status/1526581892581150720 it's entirely possible that the people who pay for things at Newcastle do not decide every single minor detail at the football club. ur speaking from pure ignorance with an agenda
That again? Really isn't inaccurate cos even if you'd beat us you'd finish below us. And it was "pre blood money" that you did your kamakaze mission of crashing down through the leagues as well.
Come on man, that was 80+ years ago (and arguably nowhere near as bad). I do think it's, again, disingenuous to claim all SAFC fans would love something similar to happen. No doubt a section of fans would (potentially even a majority), but I know for a fact that a large number wouldn't. Personally, I'm quite passionate about equality and women's rights, and would absolutely not want anything like that happening at SAFC. TBF I may be in a minority, as I'm a relatively casual supporter and am quite ambivalent about football in general. I suppose that's why I find the idea that anyone would get upset about another team winning a cup so alien, and the idea of people "raging" about it so laughable. But I guess there probably are some SAFC fans, who don't have much going on in their lives, who care about it to that extent...
Why don't you stop worrying about whether you'd be happy with oil money because it's not even an option and never will be. It's easy to say you wouldn't want something when you're never going to get it. If you were content you'd not be crying like a whore the past 3 years and for the rest of your life about nufc.
That's fair. Although it's interesting that the club hasn't made any social media posts (as far as I can tell) about the rainbow laces campaign since 2022? Many of the top comments on that tweet remain homophobia from Saudi Arabians, and it looks like this is after an extensive purge of homophobic comments was carried out by your admin team. Do you concede that it's fair to assume that the majority of NUFC fans now wish death upon all gay people? It seems to be a statistical probability, based on the fact that many Saudi nationals adopted NUFC as their team (or second team) following the takeover, and the population of Saudi Arabia far outweighs that of the city of Newcastle.
The very first link was a post from Dec 2024 about it that's all I read. On the second part, this entire argument here is disingenuous bollocks and clear bait. First and foremost, it would require me to believe that you think a football club "fan" is someone who has decided they want to click on a Twitter account. Which everyone just knows that isn't a fan, so every single post on here where you have tried to look a sound of mind person is a complete and utter performance. Sunderland fans openly supported a nonce, would you concede that the majority of Sunderland fans are nonces? No you wouldn't. Cos you know that isn't how the world works, it just so happens that IS how it works when it involves a local rival that you clearly despise.
Most Sunderland fans I have ever bumped into in my life have been sound tbh it's the ones on here I cannot stand, the majority of them through their posts clearly live around Newcastle fans in their day to day life, so the ****ing cowards they are they all pop on here and post utter bile about them and let it all loose. Look at Smug, who posts hateful **** and then tells a story how he kissed the arse of a pair of elderly relatives who support us. What a disingenuous piece of human filth the guy is. You see it all the time from them on here, then they ban anyone who approaches their little wildlife sanctuary. This David Moyes **** has shown his hand n'all. When he got riled up yesterday he realised he had "lost" his little online argument so edited every single post We are a bigger club, more successful one, with more money, more fans, more recognition. Sorry, it's how it is now. please log in to view this image
