Well the first part of that to do list will take 10 minutes tops. Get rid of them all and try to keep Fernandes if he can. Job jobbed. Now he has a bit more free time, he can maybe have a look at what's going on now because if the board are happy for us not to gain another point this season then it's on them to let us know. Then we can decide whether we're spending our hard earned cash on this utter bollocks.
“Imagine” doing a lot of heavy lifting here If it’s anything like the last few windows the club will be sat around until just before the season starts before they even sit down to discuss transfers I would like to see the entire recruitment staff sacked and replaced before the end of the season personally
I suspect his main job at the moment is assessing potential managerial candidates. Really hope we're not putting all our eggs in the Rohl basket.
I've seen there's interest in Liam Rosenior but would he leave Strasbourg, currently 7th in Ligue 1, for us? Same question for any candidate.
****ed if I know what's going on behind closed doors, you've had plenty of replies saying much the same thing.
Do we still share scouting and recruitment with Goztepe and Valenciennes? If so, let's just hope we don't have to wait until the end of the Turkish season (June) before any movements on our side.
What I did not like is what he said about youth and experienced players. In football, my club, Southampton FC, has proved that Manchester United doing it 'with kids' was the exception to the rule.
Didn't he say he wanted a mix of youth and experience? Youth because we simply don't have the money to go out and buy 11 finished products, we need to get them young and turn them into top talent. Then a few experienced heads because, as you allude to, you can't just have a squad of kids. Seemed sensible to me.
