It's their day you can't deny them that and they've beaten some good teams to do it. They've shown the cup the respect it deserves and the respect many of the bigger clubs don't and it's worked for them.

 

That's right . . . . they've won it utilising dirty/blood money provided by human rights abusers/murderers that were allowed to buy the club illegally (it's against the rules for a country to own a Premiership club, I believe, but Boris helped them to do so, apparently . . . . I wonder what size the envelope was ), so it's definitely tarnished, but it has certainly worked for them

I've been having a laugh with my Mag relatives in Chopwell today, supporters since the 1950's, really good banter going back and forth.

I'd wished them a good day yesterday and they came back and thanked me today.

They were saying they were a little fortunate in that Arsenal and Liverpool had their eyes on bigger prizes ...

... but a trophy is a trophy and they're happy so I'm happy for them.

one thing I noticed of myself was I didn't feel one ounce of jealousy when they won it but disappointed that it's a big step in legitimising those awful bastards as owners. But it's not the right time for that now it would get dismissed as bitter easily. Wait until they're winless in 5 at some point and calling for saint Eddie's heed
