I assume that's what the new legislation is all about, so I can't see why anyone would argue with it. The only other area I'm concerned about is hate crime on the internet, **** knows how you moderate that if it came under it, other than removing all third party sources. Tbph I don't want kids on here anyway, I wouldn't want my grandkid on here so why would I want anyone elses. It's a mainly male environment of aging grumpy men. sorry no offence to the few females on here.
I think the new rules apply now. We are all grown ups, so we know the standards of acceptable behaviour. I will always act to protect the site and our community first and foremost, so don't take it personally. No under 18's please. No bullying or harassment of individuals or bringing content here that can be deemed as such. No racism or Porn!
Everyone on this site is an adult and everyone understands that these days no one is anonymous on the internet, nor exempt from a knock on the door from the authorities. As many people have found out on Twitter and Facebook and are now serving time for it. We'd probably get a warning first, and it would be down to us to action it, which we would, so I suppose the simple answer is behave yourselves, so we don't have to enforce actions. I can't force people how to behave, I can only use persuation, if that fails and we get in trouble, then we will do whatever is required to keep the right side of the law. I think we all want the same here, a legal platform, where people can express honest opinions without overstepping whatever the government dictates regarding the safe use of the internet for all.
