Knew before kick off they’re unfortunately a good side and have gotten up for big games with Eddie Felt like a degree of inevitability about it. Liverpool weren’t great but Newcastle were very good. unfortunately once they navigate this psr patch they perpetual top 4 and cup contenders
Liverpool were poor today, if the mags had done this 3 years ago it would have had some credit, if you spend £400m plus on players you expect to win trophies, they will never do what we did in 1973
I'll be having a total news blackout. And facebook. ( I wonder if Zuckerburg has called all his staff in to cope with it crashing with the overload)
It's cost them what £600M to win the third level domestic trophy. How much will it cost them to win the league? How much will it cost them to win the Champions League? It just demonstrates the gap between State owned clubs and the rest. To be fair to them they deserved their win today, you can only beat what's in front of you, and there wasn't that much in front of them, but they beat them. Ah well I'll just have to put up with them for a while.
Not on yesterdays performance , but on most of our play this season, I reckon we'd have beaten this Liverpool
Obviously sickening, horrible experience and not that it’ll mean much but we and they (as much as they’ll deflect from it) know how that was achieved. Only saving grace for me is that they finally won something when it was paid for by a murderous state, they can never change that as gutting as it is
Their owner ordered 180 people to be beheaded in ONE DAY. Women jailed for being raped. Homosexuals thrown off the top of tall buildings, journalist Jamal Khashoggi killed, dismembered and smuggled out of Saudi Embassy in a suitcase for criticising their owner. You can keep your silverware if that is the price to pay.
