Have to admit choice has little or no chance on my current 'form', so have picked today's toughest-looking race. One to avoid, I guess, but, what the heck, I'll give it a go!

    15:45 Curragh - Orandi e/w

Premier Handicap over 1m on soft ground.

The Irish Lincoln, with 28-runners scheduled to go to post, is as tough a Flat race to fathom as one can imagine. However, seems this Morandi gelding is fancied by its shrewed stable. Welll drawn in Stall-27 amd suited by current track condiitions. Wears tongue-strap as in previous runs Shane Foley rides for the Tony Martin stable.

7/1 best price in many places on the ATR site, at time of writing.

Great shout SwanHills. You probably couldn't go for a harder race today so we'll deserved. At one point all the runners looked like they would hardly fit across the track. Good ride by Foley and the 2nd ran a blinder also.

That’s a fair shout Swanny. I’d give up now for the flat season after that pick <applause>

I agree, Chan, better 'rest on my laurels' after that major surprise. Don't know how on earth Shane Foley did it, as he had to manoeuvre the horse all over the (nearside) track to get a clear run. 10/1 SP. Apologies if I'm a bit incoherent, but am still in a daze, to put it mildly.:emoticon-0104-surpr
