I barely paid attention to it today, not even been looking at the score on my phone every couple of minutes like usual. Just winding down to the end of the season now and all change again.

Actually, having seen that Bergvall incident again and if he's in a 'Pool or Utd shirt that's given.

Against Wolves, IIRC. We got a couple in the Europa, too.

I’m the same. I don’t really care anymore it’s gone that way again these days. The only excitement is the Europe league although I can’t see us getting past Frankfurt.
All this talk of having players back and being able to rotate the team makes no difference whatsoever. We are just as ****!

2-0 FT. Largely rubbish, despite not doing too badly for a chunk of the second half.
Having Gray and Davies deal with Muniz so that Romero can play 180 minutes for Argentina is bollocks.
Absolutely dreadful season with very, very few bright points.

if Davies and Gray are your CB pair you can't expect top half table finishes and/or keeping clean sheets in the top tier against any team.

I don't know why Romero had to come off, but this is the price you pay when you show PL opposition your weaknesses. Opposing managers pounce.

Happy for Sessegnon at least. He showed us exactly the guile that is missing from our fullbacks and why Conte trusted him to a degree.

Ideal time to get rid of Ange with the international break. He's a nice guy but he's only got himself to blame. Always overplaying and drawing a press that we can't deal with and the players clearly aren't being coached to press themselves.

You could talk about the obvious penalty if we weren't so poor. We had Romero on the pitch for an hour yet we played a midfield with 0 creativty ahead of him and 2 wingers who aren't at their best and wasted the opportunity to actually push forward and not look like a total mess at the back. The two finishes were good but Fulham didn't play very well and we still couldn't trouble them.

We're not gonna win the Europa League being this under coached and we're not even going to finish top half so there's really no point keeping Ange on, I just hope we can convince Iraola, or find someone else like him who does know how to play good attacking football. The players are a lot better than this.

Just another day watching a team with no ****ing idea and precious little conviction.

Players returning from injury, recently some better results and a confidence boosting entry onto the EL QFs....

    ....and?

    **** ALL. Absolutely ****ing nothing!

They won't get rid of him while we're still in Europe and possibly not even after we go out.
It's fairly close to the end of the season, so we'd probably only replace him with Mason anyway.
There should be no excuses about finding someone suitable once the campaign's over, though.
They've had plenty of warning and plenty of time to do the work.

Pointless sacking him now as no one any better is coming with 2 months left and won’t make any difference to the season.

Just start getting the feelers out making sure we have the right candidate ready to go asap once the season is over.

It’s surely getting untenable for Ange at this point. I get that it’s not his fault that the ref drops a clanger, or the players can’t seem to make simple passes for most of a game. Add in the injuries, the mess the club has been in for years. It’s not all on him. But I just can’t get a sense of what he’s trying to do to turn anything around.

I doubt he’ll lose his job before the end of the season but unfortunately it might have to be adieu come June.

Don’t we need to wait until 100 games have been played?

I'm hoping that the team produce in the EL and Ange gets the chance to become tis centuries Burkenshaw rather than this year's chump.

But even I can't see anything but our season dying in the next round.

Still being in Europe is the best reason to get rid of him. Champions League qualification should be enough to motivate a change, unless our board really believes the players in this squad aren't good enough.

That's what you get when you can't string two forward passes together.

The lads at my old primary school would in all likelihood give this lot a
good run for their money, with no ill-will.

    He selects said players.

I would sooner a load of academy kids be chosen,
if the numbers in training sessions show they have
the highest values for all salient KPIs.
