When do we think we might get news on this? I don't see any good reason for waiting?

I see Leicester have released theirs so waiting for relegation to be confirmed doesn't seem particularly necessary. Perhaps they're hoping for another win to try and capitalise on it.

What do we reckon on prices? I think they'll be frozen personally as I don't see them decreasing them after a big increase last summer which I think may cause a fair few to not bother.

Any long term holders planning on not renewing?

Depends 100% on the price. I'm simply not paying this seasons prices next season. They can **** right off

Told my mate I’m waiting until there’s business in the transfer window. By which I mean players and managers. I’m not paying **** if it’s a week before kick off and we’ve sat on our asses all summer again and the PR machine is in full force and we’ve bought more U-20s.

This has probably been the worse season in memory.
We are a club in quite a crisis at the moment. We have owners who don’t seem to know how to run a top level football club. Yes there are signs that they want to change, with the appointment of Sporrs etc, but I hope that they will make a statement to the fans this week in respect to there plans moving to the summer and next season.
I don’t expect them to name a new manager, but some kind of statement is needed, as it could turn very toxic over the last 5 games at home.
I would also expect a player clear out this summer as most are clearly not good enough and I fully believe that several players have downed tools after RM’s sacking and lack of professionalism is rife.
But with all this going on, yeah I’ll still renew my season ticket.
    It’s the hope that’s kill’s you .

Chances of that are extremely low I reckon.

Maybe that's why the club are waiting to announce it though?

I know people always say it but I am having to think very hard about renewing. We do not qualify for the heating allowance and our energy bill for last month was just over £300. The cost of two season tickets will be better spent keeping us warm next winter.

I’m not going to be renewing, but that’s more to do with the new EFL TV deal. Basically a third of your games are lunchtime KOs in the Champ, with roughly another third midweek in the evenings. I had a look at Leeds’ schedule this season for comparison (as I presume we’ll be treated similarly) and I think of their 23 home games, only 11 have been 3pm KOs

Not really compatible for me, sadly. At least next season every single game is on the red button on Sky

That is a good call. I’m only 35 miles from the ground but midweek games mean I have to move too much stuff around to make it worth it.

My understanding is that they're the only ones still not included.

All opening day, final day, midweek, and bank holiday matches are included for the Championship, plus five matches every regular weekend as moved away from 3pm.

Yeah the 12:30 games are going to be horrific next season. I quite often hire a car for aways which won't really be possible for a game in say Derby. Plus who wants to schlep to ****ing Boro for a 12:30 KO.

I'm definitely going to renew as after a season of new grounds there's quite a lot for me next season.

Plus the small matter of Fratton, not done most away games this season for nothing!

    Good point, that’s right

Yeah, so bad. I’m in London so it’s not totally impossible to do, but my old man has to travel for 80 mins just to get to London before heading to Southampton. He’s almost 70 now and finds the days tiring as it is, so it just doesn’t make sense for me. In the promotion season we had to do several overnight stays which is fine when you’re winning, but still expensive and a pain to get into the office the following day

Thankfully I’ve done almost all of the grounds in the Championship, so that’s okay, although I will be a bit gutted to miss out on south coast derbies :(

I feel your pain. Was often staying overnight in Southampton and then heading straight to the office in London and those morning commuter trains aren’t much fun

I’ll miss it but I’m also about to buy a home for the first time, so my bank balance might appreciate me reducing my Saints outlay for a bit <laugh>

Will try and pick and choose a few home games throughout the season and perhaps luck my way into an away game or two along the way

As far as I can tell, from the 38 rounds of matches, Leeds have had eight Saturday 3pm KOs (six home, two away), Sheff Utd have had 15 Saturday 3pm KOs (eight home, seven away) and Burnley have had ten Saturday 3pm KOs (five home, five away).

In terms of their non Saturday 3pm matches:

Leeds - 18 games moved to other weekend slots to be one of Sky's five televised games (six home, 12 away). Other 12 games are in other time slots for other reasons eg midweek, postponement etc (seven home, five away).

Sheff Utd - 12 games moved to other weekend slots to be one of Sky's five televised games (five home, seven away). Other 11 games are in other time slots for other reasons eg midweek, postponement etc (five home, six away).

Burnley - 15 games moved to other weekend slots to be one of Sky's five televised games (six home, nine away). Other 13 games are in other time slots for other reasons eg midweek, postponement etc (seven home, six away).

Unsurprisingly, Sky do favour Leeds - just as they did last season. I doubt we'd be matching Leeds' number of televised matches. But clearly Sheff Utd and Burnley have had lots moved too, especially away games.

Yeah it's ****e. One of the biggest advantages of the championship was more Saturday 3pm KO's and this new Sky deal has ruined it. We'll probably have less than this season.

Should still be able to get a home derby ticket if you get a membership and are on the ball. Wonder if the club will try and group it with an unattractive game like in 11/12.

Watching the Sheffield derby. Terrible game.

We're gonna absolutely batter this league next season.

If we get the managerial appointment right, then I'll have no worries. It's just pure excitement for me.

Top six I'd expect as a minimum, top four more like the reality, and hopefully top two.
