So would I. Important we have the Prem full of genuinely big clubs, not rural oiks. but relegation is not certain for you, you have 9 games left and only need to catch up 10 points on the 17th placed club. That requires about 2 points a game - just win 6 of the 9 and its job done.
Agreed that it’s nice to see the biggest, most historically successful clubs in the Premier League. With that said, we need Sunderland, Blackburn, and West Brom to go up this season - genuine historic heavyweights.
Clutching at straws is right. But these things are a huge deal and the timing matters. It could give us a boost and them a rattle ahead of an all or nothing game week.
Others (who had done worse) were given a fine, if they issue an extended ban Wolves will no doubt point at other cases where a fine was issued instead.
I can't remember who it was now, I was reading an article last week, they didn't rule out a ban or fine, just stated two previous cases that ended up as fines rather than extended bans pointing out that what the two players (previous examples) did were worse. I think it was a Birmingham or Midlands based news outlet so probably biased, if I remember rightly the article also touched on if Cunha was still going to get a big money move this summer based on his poor discipline I just had a quick search to see if I could find it again but couldn't, sorry
I think the whole Wolves team could miss the rest of the season and we still wouldn't make up the points!
On a more light hearted note I see Leicester have a set a new premier league record of 7 home defeats without scoring a goal in any of those games.
