Anyone remember when Roberts would take on his man and beat him?

It’s a weird one. Ask me at the start of the season I’d have said playoffs were exceeding expectation. But some of our players have developed so rapidly that yes, I’d agree, playoffs is where we should be.

edit - potentially somewhat controversially, I don’t think many of our players are as good as some of our fans do. There’s a lot of potential, but some just aren’t ready for a promotion. The likes of Hume, Rigg, Ballard, Patterson, Roberts, Mayenda, O’Nien. None of them are premier league quality YET. Neil, Cirkin, Jobe and Isidor aren’t ready to start premier league games but would be good squad players. And I think for promotion you really need 5 or 6 players that could step up instantly.

It’s a year too early for most of these players. Which is why I hope we only lose 1 or 2 in the summer:

This board yesterday evening and this morning was unusually quiet, as if we knew it looked bad.

Serious question and not meant to be any way controversial

As well as having an inexperienced squad we have an inexperienced manager. Leeds,Burnley,Sheffield Utd all have managers who have promotions on their CV

For those on here who have coached/scouted is this having an impact

Midfield is a big problem at the moment Jobe should have been pulled today he’s coasting Doesn’t do loads wrong because he’s basically doing nothing at the moment Early season he was running things getting into the box and chasing back to cover. Just strolling last couple of games. But he’s a young lad these things happen down to the manager to help him. Need le fee back and in the middle also need to give Aleksic and Browne some minutes. Just need a bit more energy from somewhere

It’s a fair question but I’d go further than that, we have a head coach in his first season in this country.

He’ll be all the better for it next season and so will the players that stay.

The passengers, Roberts all season, Cirkin since his injury and Jobe of late are j too heavy for the rest of the team to carry and the cracks are showing..

You were saying 'Far too many trying to force a positive mentality'.

How can anyone simply trying to hope for the best be 'forcing anything on other people'.

You'll think whatever you choose and other people won't alter that.

If I choose to believe we'll be in the playoffs, and possibly be in the PL next season, that's just my opinion ...

... you think whatever you like, I really couldn't care less.

Burnley and Sheff UTD have parachute payments so have Leeds

We are slowly building something. Can’t be rash in getting rid.

We took 100 days to bring him in. KLD/KS clearly see something with him.
    Patience is needed.

Tbh. I've seen this coming. We've been off for a few weeks now. Thankfully the international break will give them plenty to mull over , with it in their system.

I agree about Jobe - he should do more than playing the scratter role and he didn't even do that today. Hope he'll come good when we need him in the play offs.

Just seen the post presser. Blaming fatigue. Exactly why the rotations should have been in place much early and not play some players until they are ran into the floor

Yeah I agree. However, if we don't go up this season and he starts poorly the pressure will be right on.
