This. F*ck the league position. I want to win every game we play. Otherwise what's the point in attending games?
Yeah, the team and system that played in he first half at Anfield would've got a better result for sure. He's not once played remotely the same team consecutively since he's been here.
We still would’ve lost. The only way we win games is if the other team miss **** loads of chances and we score late so they don’t have time to up their game again. Our only wins this season have both been games we should’ve lost, and we got the winner late. Even the Everton game we scored with like 10 mins left and could’ve conceded about 3 in the last 10 mins and a millimetre offside and we would’ve drawn. Wolves didn’t need to try today to beat us, if we had turned our dominance into goals they would’ve just gone up a gear or two and scored again. The players have a bit of fight in them at the start of games but ultimately the season is over so as soon as we go a goal down their motivation to work hard to get back into the game is naturally not there as there is nothing to play for. We obviously don’t have the talent of other teams as well so that’s not a good combo
I get what you're saying and don't massively disagree with your main point but ultimately it's not easy to think that way when you're witnessing that horror show every week. And that's honestly not meant as a 'ooh look at me and how many games I've been to' as I hate that **** but it's much easier to take the blase/logical approach when you're not investing time and money.
Just got to Cricketers. Haven’t read zippo so far. The clown continues. How the fcuk SR picked this guy & had him at the top of their list for the last 2 years astounds me. 5 at the back with no forward, magic. I get the slow reintroduction of wantawaydownes but at least he’s our player & looked capable. Bit lost for words tbh. Said when we scored, just watch the time wasting & injured Wolves players now & within a minute, bang! When the guy went down in front of Northam with cramp & eventually walked off, I was going full scale nuts. Rob said to me, what he should really do now, is a little skip & Irish jig just to blow my gasket. I laughed a little
No, I know mate. It’s ****ing miserable. I guess I’ve largely just switched off from this season now, but then I’ve not been getting to many games so that process has been easier. Going to get an ST for next season though. Reckon it’ll be fun.
Heavy metal football = playing in diving boots. Saints are so poor in every department. Ball control, passing, shooting, athleticism and determination. They are a nice group of blokes though. I suppose we should be grateful that we don’t lose 5-0 every game. None of the players would get into Wolves team.
Same mate it'll be a million times better. Roll on May. On the plus side this season is the first (and hopefully the last) where I'm going to witness all of our points gained which is rather bizarre
Yeah same, especially given the booing was followed by "don't know what you're doing". It was just a daft ****ing sub to make just going into stoppage time. Like literally what was the ****ing point.
No VAR to ruin it either. Genuinely looking forward to it from a footballing point of view, my thoughts on ownership and the wider club aside (always easier to tolerate when you're enjoying the football side of things of course)
This might sound weird but today really made me realise how stupid it was to loan Arma out. Never ever see him slacking.
I'd suggest that Wolves were the worst side to visit SMS this season. And yet they still won. The fact that they're nine points clear of the bottom three just shows how awful the three of us are. The way they were time-wasting, you would think they were beating Liverpool 2-1, as opposed to probably the worst team in PL history.
But little legs in this league is even more embarrassing than what we had today. Actually just read that back & it’s touch & go.
