Hughes, imperious and such a miss for that 2 month period Coyle, first time in months I've had him in my mom, deserved it and really has turned his form round Gelhardt, so much of what we do well goes through him....rumoured 5mil? bargain if we've got the cash. Big big props for Kamara and Palmer as well, like with Gelhardt they make things happen
Hughes. One mistake but rest of his game was excellent, going to be a great player Geldhart None stop running and some clever touches, fits in perfectly with our play Alzate. So cool on the ball. Controls the middle really well Fantastic point away against a play off side, could easily have been all 3 points as well. Team attitude, effort and application is spot on. If only we could take more chances. Still lots to do as the bottom teams keep getting points as well. Can’t wait for the Luton match
Hughes - a rock at the back . Headers, blocks and tackles . The odd foray forward- total commitment to the team . Gelhardt- another dynamic performance along with some nice passing . As usual he was a pest . Pandur - unlucky with their goal after a couple of saves had kept us in the game . Another solid battling team performance Well done boys Come on City
Hughes - has a mistake in him but my god he leaves it out there, wouldn't surprise me if Ruben gives him the armband next season. Gelhardt - again constantly looking for the ball and always has his head up looking for opportunities to attack, his work rate is immense. Jones - the unsung hero at the back, rarely let's us down. Another battling performance and right subs at the right time again, kudos to the lot of then.
Hughes Gelhardt Alzate 3-4 contenders for 3rd spot, excellent result and could easily have been 2 or 3 1 to either side.
Hughes - going to be our next big money sale unless we get promoted. Reads the game, brings the ball out of defence and just a dominant force. Coyle - Just did everything really well today. Defended doggedly against good wingers, played the ball out calmly - particularly when Kamara came on - they’ve built up a good understanding. Gelhardt - not quite at his best but kept the WBA defence on their toes. Nice ball to Kamara who should have slotted home for the 3 points.
