Yes indeed. The FA Cup has diminished and the League Cup is now the competition everyone wants to win ... ... just as everyone wanted to win the Fairs Invitation Cup rather than the European Cup
Scraped past Forest on pens League 2 Wimbledon at home (that was meant to be away but was switched to the **** hole on the hill) Chelsea reserves at home Brentford reserves at home Out of form Arsenal Some fairy tale story after spending the best part of £600 million
Shearer - "Can you imagine what it would be like if Newcastle were to win this Carabao Cup final? The reaction from the Geordie public would be like nothing I have ever witnessed. I know I am biased but if any set of fans deserves a trophy it is the Newcastle supporters because of their passion, their loyalty and how they have stuck by the team over the years." Yes Alan, of course Alan
They never refer to Newcastle fans just the Geordi They never refer to Newcastle fans always Geordie public. They have to feel more loved than they are. Not everybody is a Mag
In particular when they carried a coffin through the streets due to the owner trying to maximise profits to spend on the team, gobbing on Bobby Robson, the misspelling on bedsheets, the punching of horses, the smashing up of phone boxes in fact of their city centre, the boycotting of games and finally being overjoyed when they got their club back after an Englishman sold up to a foreign buyer with a red n white headdress. Yes Alan, the loyalty of an alley cat.
If they win are they allowed to show any sort of affection in public? No hugging lads, especially if it’s another bloke for ****s sake, that’s a complete no.
Well I'll be watching the grandson tomorrow morning play football and then onto the local pub next to the ground to celebrate his team winning the league and gaining promotion. The game will be on as there's quite a few plastic mags amongst the dads - son in law included. If there's any justice in the world, Liverpool will wipe the floor with them so it won't spoil the afternoon for me
As said below pretty much beef stew, although some say should be done with lamb. Just knock ya self up a stew and call it scouse for the day, make enough and start offering it to mags!
The fact its in Tyne & WEAR, and historically in Co. Durham. We have just as much, if not a little more, right to put a SAFC shirt on it. That doesnt seem to bother them though. They would throw an oversized town shirt over a jumbo jet passing Byker if it flew low enough.
