Their midweek victory against Millwall propelled them back to the top spot and provided a timely confidence boost ahead of the international break. However, Daniel Farke's side will be wary of the challenge presented by Queens Park Rangers. Despite suffering four consecutive defeats, the R's boast a formidable home record, winning seven of their last ten games at Loftus Road. This home form starkly contrasts with their recent overall results and highlights the potential banana skin this fixture represents for Leeds. Leeds have a dismal recent history at Loftus Road, losing all of their last four visits, including a humbling 4-0 defeat last April, a low point in a previous promotion push. Overcoming this psychological hurdle will be key for Farke's men going into the International break. Injury concerns are present for both sides. For Leeds, midfielder Joe Rothwell is being assessed after coming off early against Millwall with a knee issue, though it is considered minor. Striker Patrick Bamford is gradually reintegrating into training following a hamstring injury sustained on New Year’s Day. While his return is anticipated, Farke has cautioned that full fitness is still some time away and no return date has been specified. Max Wober is still recovering from knee surgery whilst skipper Ethan Ampadu remains sidelined for the foreseeable future with a meniscus cartilage issue, which could yet see him go under the surgeons knife. QPR are battling a more significant injury crisis. Key playmaker Ilias Chair is a major doubt after hobbling off against Middlesbrough with a suspected hamstring injury. Chair's absence would be a significant blow as he has been instrumental in QPR's attacking play since returning from injury earlier in the season. Further compounding their woes, Jonathan Varane has missed the last two games through injury, and influential midfielder Sam Field is likely out for the season with an ankle injury.
Unreal that Farke stilll even mentions Bamford. He will never play more than 15 minutes for us again. Think we'll win this one this time. If we do and Burnley drop anything Ill be popping out for the bubbly to put in the fridge
Well having got the last 3 scores exactly right, I'm hoping that my prediction method goes back to as being as unsuccessful as it has been for the first 34 games of the season Aski QPR 4 - 0 Leeds United Chat GPT QPR 1 - 2 Leeds United Gemini/Ninja AI QPR 1 - 2 Leeds United Just as an additional comment, if using my prediction method of just putting the same scoreline as last season for the remaining fixtures, then of our 9 final games, we would win 7, draw 1 (this is the away game at Oxford) and lose one (tomorrows game against QPR) for a total of 101 points. However as this method has only successfully got 4 our of of 37 games exactly correct, I probably wouldn't put too much faith in this method
But if I get this score correct that will be 4 in a row, so take comfort that I might then also get the next 4 correct and the 4 after that too, which gives us 101 points Stop being such a negative nelly and be a positive petunia for a change NB : of course I accept no responsibility if it all goes tits up
It was kind of 'one of those games' Very Leedsy: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/live/c4n187n2x85t#MatchStats
Yep, this is where the promotion dream died last season. No idea why we have such a bad record at this ground.
not just that ground... it's anywhere in London - been to London once this season... and lost Tomorrow's another day. We'll spank them.
It's these in ur face stadiums we fuk up at Pompty Scumwall Qpr where the crowd are virtually behind you. We were absolute walloped here last season and we can't turn up in the same vain. This will be exactly like the pompy game no space with physical ability applied we need to find a way around I wouldn't play Brendan tomoz and I would even think of starting willy or Rammy just to mek them think a bit of what we doing. Think it will be a close game but will come out on top about 3 nowt lol.
That's because one of them is my prediction Eire and the other two are both predicted by AI. I've done the same for every one of our games this season, and both AI's have so far been more successful than myself, although in the last 3 weeks I've nearly caught them up. Plus both the Ai's have gone for the same scoreline, so in reality its 2 different scores
The other two could easily drop points. QPR have lost 5 of their last 6 league games. what could possibly go wrong? actually, I think we’ll storm it 0-3. But what do I know?
