Oh so simple, fannying around at the back, turn over the ball, splintered defence, goal. This could become very ugly.
I’m not actually convinced it’s purely Cordoba. He obviously messed up on the ball, but why Long passed to him when it was clear he had no options? Where was Doyle for both goals? Why is Duffy so absent and why can’t he find one of our players when he heads the ball? Why is Sorensen losing the ball so often?
The commentator have been highlighting our problems at the back all game. Everyone sees it, except our manager
Statistically we don’t give away many chances, but we concede an awful lot of the ones we do give away. Tonight for example, 2 chances 2 goals. We’ve had 4 or 5 and not scored. Long has conceded 18 goals in 9 games this season
Every other team is why faster in the turnover, breaks, positive. We invite pressure high up the pitch, every time - I like that we play good football, but why don’t we mix it up to relieve pressure? It’s tactically bizarre
