Thank heaven's Donald and Methven ran away before they could do any more damage ... ... it's years since we produced young players like this.
Thanks for another brilliant thread RTB. Always a difficult game down there. Don't like the place usually bits of bother around the ground so be careful. I'd take a point now but to be fair the players usually dig in for games like this and surprise us more often than not. Happy with a point but have a sneaky feeling we could nick it late on. Anyway won't be at this one as I'm in the Highlands for a couple of weeks from tomorrow. Only missing the one game though courtesy of the international break. Recharge the batteries ready for a frantic run in to the end of the season. Haway the lads.
There is stuff to grumble about but we should thank our lucky stars more often. We are in a great position in so many ways and the emotion of ups and downs of results can blind us. Me included.
Was hell on down there in L1 ended up getting lifted for giving someone a clip after he put a rock from the train lines through a bus window. A load of them were stood behind the police lobbing these rocks over that were f*cking massive wouldve done some real damage if they hit you on the head and all of a sudden loads of our fans ran through the police so took the initiate to twat someone because I knew the police would get me before they could all jump on me luckily the officer was sound and took me to over to our bus and took the handcuffs because it was kicking off all over and he needed to be away. Hopefully their bubble has burst after that run they’ve been on, fancy goals in this one gonna go with a 3-2 win. Can’t play 4-4-2 against their midfield 3 though we’ll get a hiding if we do.
We're absolutely blessed imo mate. The owner is a smart operator but doesn't simply believe he knows it all and can run things like Trump. He has serious advisers, lawyers and analysts going through every aspect of the club. He doesn't want the limelight, he wants progress and success ... ... I doubt anyone could name a better Championship club tbh.
Bring them on. We have bouncebackability. Isidor to make amends, Patto to be man of the match and Roberts to get a goal and an assit. Oh aye, and Rigg to dominate misfield. I am going to this one. An hour away but taking the 2 hour train to have a bevvie with some mates from Brum who are going. Looking forward to it as always. Too rare this season I have made the trips.
I live close to Coventry. I sit next to a Coventry season ticket holder at work. Please, please let us win this one!!
I hope we can get this one over them, they dont have their Robins Hood now. Team picks itself IMO, the opening post but Mayenda in for Isidor. Only other question would be Rigg or Browne.
In a hotel in Birmingham at the moment with 2 of my sons. Off to Cheltenham today and meeting up with son number 3 who is coming up from London. Back to Brum tonight and out for a curry and then off to Coventry tomorrow. It’s not a bad life is it?
Regis Le Bris on strikers Wilson Isidor & Eliezer Mayenda https://www.thenorthernecho.co.uk/s...rland-strikers-wilson-isidor-eliezer-mayenda/ HE'S without a goal since the middle of last month and dropped to the bench for a couple of recent games, but Regis Le Bris says he still has "100 per cent trust" in Wilson Isidor…. For the majority of the campaign, Isidor has been the nailed on first choice striker and Mayenda a support act up-front. Le Bris admits that's perhaps not quite as clear cut now, but Isidor still has his manager's complete backing, despite his recent short stint on the bench. "I agree, it's a new situation," said Le Bris. “We spoke earlier in this press conference about new experiences for the team, for the players... the conditions change and they have to experience this. "Sometimes they can deal efficiently with the challenge, sometimes it is harder. But we can discuss it, talk about it, learn from it. I agree this is a new one right now. I still trust Wilson 100 per cent." Le Bris is trying to strike the right balance with his team selection in the hope several key players can freshen up for the final games and the play-offs. He said: "It is like Riggy, for example, sometimes you just need one, two, three weeks to rest and to recover. This can be really useful for Wilson. "It's not a positive for him as an experience because they want to play, score, be the main man, so I know it is not a pleasure for him but at the same time it is going to be useful for him. I still trust Wilson 100 per cent, 100 per cent."
I have someone looking for a coach seat, or lift, from somewhere around Castletown, or anywhere, to Coventry … … happy to pay and is fully vaccinated and housetrained
What's the craic with yellow cards and suspensions? Just heard Jobe is no longer running a tight rope, and I'm sure Hume was on the same number of yellows after picking one up on Tuesday.
