Carlton Morris would be a quality addition if Luton go down, may have top end clubs after him, but you think back to Philogene or Barry more recently.

Callum Lang, Jerry Yates or Ryan Hardie would also be decent options

He’ll be in demand but that’s a good shout pal. Talking of ‘top end clubs’ If and when we can get all hands back to full fitness next season and possibly add a proper left back I don’t think we’ll be too far away from those expecting a quick return to the Premier League.

    Assuming we stay up like

I’d take Callum Lang. Not really an out-and-out striker but can score goals, is quick, mobile etc.

Was thinking recently about if we will see a return of the classic striker partnership in the top leagues (including the Championship). Some teams like Villarreal play 4-4-2 but it’s a typical striker plus a false 9. I’m talking about the classic ‘big guy, little guy’ partnership like Crouch and Defoe. A target man and a quick poacher to run in behind.

Pedro and Joseph I think would work, or even Burstow and Pedro.

But Hardie is a great shout. I’d also take Ogbeta as I thought he looked very good as their left back.

We'll be getting Giles back, dropped for 3 games then subbed at half time on Saturday

    From their local rag...

In particular, the subbing off of Ryan Giles felt a cruel blow for the full-back. A star in his first spell at Boro, he had 18 tough months at Luton Town and then Hull City prior to his Riverside return in January. But things haven’t gone to plan as yet for the popular 25-year-old.

Carrick insisted Giles was in a good place ahead of the Swansea game and said he had no qualms about putting him back in the side amid Boro’s defensive injury crisis. But after missing out on a starting spot in Boro’s last three, his latest chance was not taken. Though Giles didn't do anything particularly wrong in the game, he lacked conviction, with his confidence already looking low before his half-time axing.

Their fans aren’t very complementary about him either, to say the least.

At what moment in time did 10 years become a 'quick return'?

Hardie from Portsmouth and the big lad from Preston (Reiss?) would both be decent shouts

That reminds me going into the stadium I got checked by a sniffer dog.

Dont get to many games but I'm sure that's never happened before or even noticed a sniffer dig before.

How long has that been a thing and is it on all the entrances?
