I have no idea. (Which should be my standard answer) The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
that happens in our box and I'm calling out the player who gave a pen away for making a stupid challenge
Like I said I am not the owner I just go in there, but I just don’t understand the hate. Telling me to lighten up and it’s only a boozer but you seem to always want to bring it up in a thread. I did speak with the landlady back end of last year and I asked her if she had seen all the hate on the social media. Her reply was yeah we’ve only been getting it for the past couple of years since the owner of the club started coming in. Sounds to me like a few individuals seem to think it’s right to call someone’s business when they are clearly just serving the community like any other public house. I won’t bother asking anymore as I can see it myself now a few people are just bitter and probably never even been in the place. Well it won’t stop me and my little family going in so we will be back in there for the Luton game. If you are reading this Botanic owners you are all doing a fantastic job and you really made my boy smile yesterday.
I've literally never mentioned that pub before on here or anywhere else lmao. Nor has anyone on here ever really mentioned it other than a few random comments. Give it a rest. The owner is a massive **** that went off on twitter at a young lad calling him a mong for standing outside the training ground, I seem to recall he posted a bunch of racist stuff as well (and it's still very obvious that's you btw). Funny how that got brushed under the rug innit?
He was racist to another pub landlord because Botanic was illegally streaming games, got caught and was done for it and the Botanic owner/s thought the pub landlord from across the road grassed them up. Proper weird lot.
You can tell it’s Shaun or Kelly because they can’t spell or punctuate properly on Twitter either. Room temperature IQs.
The botanic supporters like to ignore the racist bit on Twitter as well when all saying what a great guy he is ..
No one's suggested it should. Top marks on making the place sound less like a sycophantic cult though btw. Do you write your own TripAdvisor's too?
To be fair, we don't all go running about being pushed when you are running, it likely to make you fall easier than if walking. For me, Puerta's incident didn't look unnatural, he was push quite hard in the back and his momentum made him fall forward.
It's a shame because it genuinely does look great inside. But the owners' antics mean I'll sadly never set foot inside unless it changes hands and keeps the City theme.
The leg contact was at knee level. Maybe try to ‘simulate’ it yourself and see what happens. I think you’ll fall flat on your face.
There's no problem with falling. But it's easy to see when someone deliberately jumps rather than just falling. Puerta jumped forwards like a swimmer going into the pool, it's clear to see in the footage. That is why the ref booked him. No one would normally spring themselves forward like that as a response to being tripped or about to fall over.
Blocked a bit by the stanchion but Puerta is sliding the ball along the box until it skims off the defender and then in off the keeper. I tried to take a screenshot but Not606 says the file is too big.. It's at 9:31 of the highlights video.
Watching the highlights back it is clearer that Hughes loses his man as he makes the run though so that was definitely a fair call at the time. Live it looked as if he was trying to track the runner at the back post so dropped off his man.
