The stadium design itself whilst might not that aesthetically pleasing to some on the eye there are a few elements of it that I actually really like the look of. The walkway up to ground (think Wembley way), the concourse areas outside of the stadium all of which I think are perfect an ideal opportunities for us to jump on and expand on the likes of what we've got with the Stack at the moment. I think this could be an area that we look to not perhaps replicate exactly like that but in that general sort of ballpark, it's all about attracting fans (and therefore extra revenue) in the lead up to and after games and expanding on the fanzone sort of idea. I do think we'd struggle to fill (regularly) a 100k stadium so definitely think 75k - 80k should be the aim but I also think it needs to be done in a way that we can add extra if we need to 5-10 years down the line after it opens as we grow commercially and hopefully on the pitch in terms of playing squad and success.
I'd much prefer still having to enter ballots for a seat in a packed stadium and buzzing atmosphere, rather than having a huge stadium with empty seats and no noise.
This. I think since it’s not going to affect SJP it will be closer to 70k. We could fill that week in and week out easy. If we are competing which we will be. Exciting times.

It's not just the number of seats though is it. I mean, unless you're the type of guy that would rather have an old Ford Capri rather than a brand new ferrari. You'll get better sponsorship, the image of the club, the players attraction, other match day money making facilities, events etc and on and on.
