Yes! Though i'm really not fussed about going up this season. I'd love the cash that comes with it however, we're a long way off the standard required to compete at the moment. I do however wish you a long and fruitful match day threading campaign.
I'd agree with this, I think we are too early in the project to be looking to go up, as has been communicated clearly the next 2 years is the target. My only concern in that time is player retention and the ability to replace those that leave adequately. I know players come and go but Sargent feels so important to this squad, but I struggle to see a world where he stays this summer - there are plenty of suitors for him already. That said I have full faith in the manager, sporting director and the project! OTBC!!!
Third game in a row with an evening ko, which is 3.45 am or nearly, for me, but I shall be staying in my Bed for this one. Too many lost sleep hours for no results.

It would help if we all -- including McLean -- stopped stoking the hysteria by continually parroting the claim that we've surrendered 30 points from "winning positions". Since when is being 1 goal up after 2 minutes at home against Burnley "being in a winning position"? I get that if you are 1 goal ahead at any point in a game and prevent the opposition scoring thereafter, you will win the game. I also get that scoring first increases the probability that you win the game. But that doesn't make "leading" synonymous with "winning". Who said we are supposed to be Arsenal under George Graham, when Gunners fans could chant "One Nil to the Arsenal" confident that three points were in the bag? Yes, there have been a small number of woeful collapses in a handful of games, the first being at Cardiff where we led 1:0 as late as minute 84 and went on to lose 2:1. But it is plain silly to treat drawing 1:1 at home against Leeds or Sheffield United, or 3:3 at home against 'Boro (having led 1:0 before they levelled in the 13th minute, went 2 goals ahead, and were headed for three points until clawed back late on by a rousing City fight back), as capitulations to be pigeon-holed along with Cardiff, and Tuesday night against Wednesday.
I can't say that I am looking forward to this game, but I will end up watching it all the same. I expect nothing from it if I am being honest, and any optimism I had has drained away in the last few games.
Not getting up at 4am for this game. The last two night games I should have stayed in bed and got my beauty sleep.
Er 1 goal up is a winning position. If you have more goals than the opposition, you win. I think that might actually be rule 1 of football.
To be confident of being in the playoffs, I think we now need eight wins from our final nine games (73 points). Even then that won’t be a guarantee, but I think about 70 points is most likely to be the sixth place position. So to be in with a shot of playoffs we need seven wins or six wins and three draws (70 points). I expect us to end up on about 61-62 points and 8-9 points off the playoff position.
The goalkeeper problem has pretty much finished us ,can't remember many points this or last season without Gunn
