I think every fan of every club the world over could watch their side play on the weekend and pick out all the 50/50s that went against them. It's the nature of football. In terms of howlers though, the puerta call was bad.
does it? i just watched it a few times and genuinely cant see it, i do wear glasses for distance, i may need to get retested
Woke up this morning feeling fine Not a pretty affair last night, but all that matters is 3 points, win, breaking the home hoodoo & of gifting points to our lower placed rivals. Job done. Looked two poor teams until 60 odd mins, then we found some tempo and Kasey Palmer. Just hope the ref does the decent thing, fingers crossed, with post match reflection/evidence, and marks in his report that he has made a mistake with the sending off Ofcourse, we all know it’s the hope that gets you! Onwards & upwards UTT.
It feels fair to suggest that their confidence levels weren't going to change overnight. I think we're seeing the fruits of that now.
dont spout lies unless you have facts doesnt make sense if you have facts its not a lie right? or do you mean have the facts but then spout lies about the facts?
just playing Devils advocate regarding the sending off, but he didnt help himself by the way he falls. i thought it was a dive from the west upper, cos it looked like a dive the way he went down as its been established above i may need better glasses and im not paid to make the decision, so yeah the ref is still ****e. just saying like.
To be honest I agree with you, it’s definitely a pen but I can also see why the ref thought it was a dive…
What I really like about Gelhardt. Scores the equaliser and like many he could have stood there and taken the adulation. Not this kid!@!@... He's so brilliantly invested in the need ....
Tremendous job. We're still poor, but seem prepared to battle unlike with Walter. But still 9 games to go. The worrying thing is that some teams might pick up. 4 of the 5 around us have won on Tuesday/Wed...Stoke/Plymouth/Luton/ Derby. Maintaining a decent G/D could be the key to staying up. We could almost field a second XI with the injured.
Yes, I thought that. He was let’s get on with the game and get a winner. Again he showed the sort of excitement a local lad shows after a win fist pumping towards the North Stand after the game.
Although apparently he is still heading in the direction of the North stand from Puerta’s dropped shoulder.
A bit over the top this. Palmer didn’t do a great deal to turn with the ball, Oxford just slow to react. His pass was also a bit short and it was only due to the defenders tackle/clearance coming off Gelhardt that it ended up in his path.
