Never mind any of this can’t appeal yellow card nonsense, you’d think common sense would be applied and someone can watch that and just reverse the decision. Great win but I cannot believe how bad that sending off is.
Well, nervy game, but credit to them for turning it around. How can the referee not give a penalty, and then book Puerta for an obvious push in the back, what a tosser.
Utterly (w)reckless from Puerta - he could have broke the defender's ankle with his diving head there. Get the **** in.
The female commentator seems to think you can appeal yellow cards for simulation, but what would she know. She’s never played the men’s game.
One defeat in our last six looks decent, 5 point gap over the relegation zone and a pretty decent goal difference.
Not as many, just a handful, daft lad. Look at East Stand, empty by the time players had finished shaking hands with the opposition.
On the oxford forum before kick off nearly all thought they’d win and that there miles better than us. Very odd considering how close we are in the table and their absolute ****e form.
We really shouldn't go all defensive and try to hold onto a lead. It worked this time but we're not very good at it and it doesn't do my blood pressure any good.
Did Puerta actually dive or was he just cleanly tackled and thought it was a foul? How can you give a second yellow for simulation if the player genuinely thinks he was fouled?
Surely given the ref is supposed to be available to be talked to, politely, after the match, and our point of view is made to him he can accept that he made an error and rescing the second yellow. If that doesn't work Coyle should call him a ****ing **** to his face. He won't though as he is too nice.
He had his shirt pulled from behind for starters, then the tackle came in which knocked him over. Nelson is twice his size so just letting play continue would have been fine I guess, but the shirt pull should have been spotted. He did it twice in quick succession actually.
