Watch The Americas from 6:30pm Sunday, March 2 on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.

This is a new 10 part series made by the BBC and narrated by Tom Hanks. It was initially made for American tv because of the content but you know it's gonna be great anyway. Apparently they told Tom not to stick to the script and he didn't.
There's one thing about the BBC, they're Kings of the Nature programmes.

Thanks for these two mate. Stephen Graham is always a must watch but Nesbitt is a can't watch. Not because of his acting, it's his bloody voice I can't stand.

A thousand blows with Stephen Graham is a decent watch so far. 4 episodes in of 6.

I’ve been battling my way through Snowfall as well. I’m not sure if I like it or not but I’ve made it to series 4, so it can’t be all that bad! <cool>

Anyone else watching Toxic Town on Netflix?

Robert Carlyle and Jodie Whittaker star in the true story of the disabled babies caused by the mismanagement of the waste removal from the Corby steel works.

I watched the first one last night, it’s a grim story, but looks like a good drama.

This might not be everyone’s cup of tea but I ****ing loved it. It’s about an Italian family living in queens and the stories within a story. It’s called
    “ Somewhere in queens “

I'm very much enjoying The Handmaid's Tale on Prime. Seems strangely prophetic and relevant to 2025, somehow. I wonder why?

Just finished watching Cold Call on Netflix. Sally Lindsay stars as a carer who loses all the money from the sale of her house due to scammers and sets about getting it back. It's not new, it was originally on Channel 5 in 2019, but it's new to Netflix. It's pretty good, some of the actors are better than others and it goes really over the top in the final episode, but it was still very watchable.

Also watched American Murder: Gabby Petito on Netflix last week. A story about a 22 year old vlogger on a road trip, it's a great example of how not to handle a missing person/murder case, the police basically let the murderer wander off.

Adolescence started on Netflix last night, the story of a 13 year old boy who murdered a classmate. I've only watched the first one, but it was brilliant, Stephen Graham plays the boy's dad and Ashley Walters plays the lead detective. I like both of them in pretty much everything they've been in anyway, but this one looks particularly good.

Just seen that advertised, both me and Mrs thought that it looked brilliant which is odd as we normally differ on the type of thing to watch. He is such a good actor Stephen Graham. I watched him get an award the other day, what an amazing speech, wonderful wonderful actor and more importantly a good man…

    Finished this series last night.

    Outstanding.

Episode 3 is the best single scene hour of television I've watched in years.

Oh and if anyone is under any illusions about the state we're in as a society with children growing up under the full influence of unfettered social media, watching this should be quite sobering.
