Would have preferred the bin dippers to win in all honesty but a CL defeat and exit may well have the opposite effect and crush their souls! We just need to keep Salah at bay and then beast the **** out of them and take our chances and it could very well be our time!
We can capitalise on this. Just give it a bloody good go. And if we were to win. That destroys their season.
Great night for us. I'm actually feeling sorry for nunez at this point though. He looks like a little excitable puppy getting his enthusiasm kicked out of him when he's down
Lol I think their season is beyond destroying now sadly. The bad - Slot is gonna majorly want this on Sunday now The good - knackered after a long game and a couple of potential injuries.
I think you could be right. Eddie would get his confidence back up and I think our fans would back him.
Reading too much into the tired legs stuff mate. They've got 4 days and had to play another 30 mins (those not subbed) They haven't had to run a marathon the night before. Tired legs, fixture congestion and even tired minds we get as excuses, but it's all bullshit.
Konate will probably play but looked out on his feet and TAA looked enough to keep him out so would imagine that’s Quansah at RB and then a tired Konaye at RCB, have Isak drift over that side to try an exploit it!
Always thought Sam Neil was a bit of a dick for picking on that kid at the start of Jurassic Park. Especially as his "giant turkey" comment actually proved he knew more about veloceraptors that the expert did.
Yeah just think Isak needs to make sure he's making Konate work - and not VVD, put yourself on Konate's side of the pitch and test his legs, even if he's coping early doors just keep running at him!
Isak loves playing against VVD. Think he sees it as something of a personal challenge, pit yourself against the best.
I think teams have now sniffed out Murphy, so he's getting dealt with more, and that will impact Isak. Not having Gordon is a right bastard.. Barnes has goals, but he's much more easily dealt with. Having said that I'm hoping all our lads have been holding back for this.
