    Very excited by the first images of the proposed new stadium, can't wait to see how it all develops.

    That’s actually a great forward thinking news. Props to Sir Ratcliffe!

    This would have never happened with the Glazers.

    The architect reckoned it will be 5 years but would have been 10 but lots of big chunks will be pre fabricated and bought to site via the Ship canal

    That's the whole project though I think, not just the stadium build.

    Loads of demolition to start with, and then demolition of the old ground at the end, plus all the regeneration of the neighbouring area.

    Looks great in principle, I just hope they can still fund the team during this period!

    It shouldn’t affect team funding, at least I hope. The good thing is that this is a local government backed project which somewhat deleverages the financial risks. Great strategy!

    Said on R5 news today that estimated completion would be 5 years.
