Oddy, sorry but I’m not buying that. If she’s out 100% right for the Champion, then she’s not 100% for the Mares.
Mullins lacks ambition. Arguably he could have won 2 or 3 more Champion Hurdles with Annie Power (the year before she won it) and Benie Des Dieux who was as good as Honeysuckle over 2 miles and ran her very close in the Mares at 9 years old.

A fitting tribute to Mikey O’Sullivan and a lovely story with the winning owner. Kopek Des Bordes should make a lovely chaser.

I’m so pleased for Lossie after that awful fall.

Head and shoulders above the rest of the mares.

Lossiemouth, just easy. Such a shame they didn't run the mate in the champion hurdle

Ruby is a prick. Dissing those that go to ‘Benidorm’ Cheltenham. He wouldn’t go within 100 miles of Cheltenham if he had to pay for his ticket.
Brilliant for Golden Ace connections. Never be fearful of one or even two of the oppo. Had the beating of Brighterdaysahead before the carnage so proves last year no fluke.

I’m with Ruby. Cheltenham a much better place without them.

Managed to get out of jail with Transmission finishing 5th, thanks to 3 fallers at the last 2 fences and Hot Fuss sneaking 4th. The eway double on the two put me in front.

Hope everyone had more luck. The PP was a whopping £11050.00.... !!!!

Kopeks winning time in the Supreme was huge 4 seconds quicker than the Champion Hurdle. Even allowing for State Man winning by 5 if it jumps the last its still circa 3 seconds faster, equivalent to about 50 yards.

3 seconds above standard though - so 7 seconds slower than Altior on similar going a few years ago. A poor supreme.
