Agreed - Leeds were bloody hopeless against a side that wanted it more. That defeat could really dent their auto aspirations - and if they have to do it through the playoffs, they'll definitely bottle it again.
Fair play to Pompey Edit Just seen the highlights. The ex JB missed two absolute sitter's, the sort he always tucks away against us.
To be fair, I think both Andy Legg and Jason Bowen saw the error of their ways and exorcised themselves of their JB demons after bathing in the cleansing waters of the capital?
I could be tempted to add Alan Curtis to that list, although when I asked him to do the Ayatollah down the Mumbles one afternoon, he just smiled and walked on
AHH alas he will always be a JB but a decent one at that. He definitely gave his all for us during his time but I don't think he ever really his his love of Swansea. My late brother once tried to bribe him at an end of season player of the year party to slag off the Jacks (drinks all night etc) but he just wouldn't do it. Believe my brother bought him 'a' drink just for sticking to his principles in such a polite way. The goal he scored v Wrexham at the Vetch in the Welsh Cup Final for us is still one of my favourite all time goals.
We’ve had a few but don’t think that many - Nigel Stevenson, Robbie James, Chris Marustic & Ian Walsh from a long time ago spring to mind
With the exception of 2/3 clubs, it's a really poor Championship this season. Just look at how far off third place they are.
It's where Warnock was so effective. And Moyes. Simple game plan. Everyone knows their job. Do the simple things well.
