Be interesting to see MOTD on the potential Liverpool red card. It did go to VAR, because it wasn't VanDijk committing the offence, but I think they then found the rule that says no Liverpool players can be sent off. But I shall wait and see. Edit: It was Nunez who wasn't sent off, but then "wins" a penalty and scores.
How many red card offences does van Dijk get away with per season compared to other CBs? Club badges influence refereeing decisions in pretty much every league
What a dilemma....really never want the Goons to win, but the lure of another United defeat is very appealing
Yep, it`s common knowledge Varpool are immune from red cards and giving away penalties, it`s usually Van Dyke let off with clear sendings off, who struts around elbowing and raking studs down achilles etc punishment free, and who can forget Jota let off with kicking Skipp in the face. Likewise with penalties gifted, how many of Salah`s Pool goals are from penalties that should not have been given.
Great free kick from Fernandes and United lead a game they haven't really been in. Rayas'positioning look dubious gave him an awful lot of the goal to aim for, but my word he took advantage.
So the Poool go into the League cup final knowing at worst they will have a 12 pt + GD gap in the PL.
Be right back, just got to put some Bottlers who talked **** about us "only" beating Man Utd in their place...
Big news today about the 100,000 ManU stadium. Haven't actually mentioned how it will be paid for. Minor detail of course.
