I think people seem to want Lampard to fail maybe cos of the media hype he gets but it seems the same with all young English managers whether they're any good or not, Rooney, Parker, Carrick etc. Then they complain there isn't enough English managers at the top level
I always liked Frank Lampard, a good hard working and honest player - a very intelligent and articulate pundit and, I'm sure he's going to be a very good coach/manager.
interestingly with coventry beating stoke it makes the playoff race even spicier please log in to view this image bristol city will leave us a lot of space youd think, they want to win badly 4 points between 6th and 12th. best league gosh wish we were in this race
Fun fact: Ruben Sellés has now been in charge for the same number of league games as Tim Walter and in that time we’ve picked up 22 points vs 15.
I suspect he has matured as a Manager / Coach since some of his previous appointments didn't really work out?
I think many people dislike Lampard for reasons beyond football—such as hiring a loophole lawyer to avoid a driving ban instead of facing justice like ordinary working people, his politics, or his close friendship with Bonafide and undeniable ****s like John Terry and the irksome Redknapps. Then there’s the time he and others goaded American tourists about 9/11.
I wasn’t aware of any of them (apart from the friendship to the **** Terry) and I’m only a 5 min walk to the ground lol
