Today proved once again we will need a significant spend this Summer on attacking & creative players if we go up. Leaburn - what has gone on with the lad ?
A point was a good result but we didn't play well. We hardly strung 2 passes together second half, Campbell was well policed by their RB and Small had an off day. Doc, Berry Anderson and Coventry between them were second best in midfield and our defence, Jones and Mannion particular, earned us a valuable point.
I did not watch the match on TV, and I have no idea how well or badly the team played today, relative to previous performances. But given the opposition and circumstances I am happy with an away point. Well done to our travelling army of fans I hope everyone gets home safely. Onwards to the next challenge...
